Background


Hans Joachim Kopp founded Kopp Strategieberatung in 2016.

He has long standing senior partner experience in strategy development and implementation, in transformation processes and in post-merger integration.

After completing his studies in business administration and his Ph. D. at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Hans Joachim Kopp started his professional career at Roland.Berger in 1995.

In 2000 he became a partner at Roland.Berger and in 2004 he was elected Senior Partner. From 2004 to 2007 he was a member of the management team at Roland.Berger in London.

In 2008 he was appointed Senior Vice President Corporate Development at E.ON AG. In this role he was responsible for group strategy development, the post-merger integration of newly acquired subsidiaries in four different European countries, and for the group-wide technology strategy.

From 2011 to 2016  Hans Joachim Kopp supported customers in Germany and Europe in their strategic development as a senior partner at Roland.Berger.
